Oluwakemi is a highly resourceful and dynamic professional with good analytical and excellent research skills. She attended Obafemi Awolowo University where she obtained an LL.B (Hons) graduating in the top percentile of her set before being called to the Bar. Oluwakemi is a studious and highly detailed lawyer with good listening skills and an innate empathy for people
Her core competence is in research and legal drafting which she brings to bear in other areas of legal practice. Over her years in practice, she has had a qualitative formative experience in diverse aspects of the legal profession such as labor and employment law, family law, insurance, registration of titles, aviation, intellectual property, and commercial transactions.
Her focus is on matrimonial causes/family law, particularly since she has won several custody and maintenance battles. She enjoys brainstorming creative solutions to legal issues and is excellent at the execution of those ideas; she is also a member of the Research Team.
Kemi is especially interested in Alternative Dispute Resolution and resorts to the resolution of disputes through mediation and negotiation rather than litigation even though her advocacy skills in the courtroom are top-notch. She is a certified mediator of the Lagos Multi-door Courthouse, and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association as well as the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Management.
